Full mechanical and electrical design for an office fit out to 3 floors at 180 the strand consisting of the following

– Domestic services to toilet blocks and tea points
– Above ground drainage to toilet blocks and tea points
– 3no VRF air conditioning systems, 1no to each floor
– 5no mechanical heat recovery systems
– Centralised controls system
– Small power
– Mechanical Power
– Access controls
– Mechanical Power
– Lighting
– Emergency Lighting
– Fire Alarm
– Data

Heat loss and heat gain calculations were carried out in order for the accurate design of the VRF heating and cooling system.

A VRF system was then designed on each floor with the external condensers located on each floor. Each floor had its own centralised controller to provide group control and override localised controllers if needed.

New domestic services were designed and installed on toilet blocks and tea points on each floor, the hot water was generated via local point-of-use water heaters concealed within IPS panels.

Mechanical Heat recovery ventilation systems were designed and installed to provide heat-recovered fresh air to each floor via packaged heat recovery units located on each floor ventilated to external via purpose-made louvred walls within plant rooms on each floor.

A lighting design was carried out with the client’s preferred lighting supplier to ensure lux levels were achieved to comply with building regulations.

Fire alarms and emergency lighting were also designed in accordance with current building regulations and installed.

We worked closely with the client to design the small power and data to ensure their full expectations were carried out to ensure that all areas were covered with sufficient small power and data.
